This summer I had the opportunity to visit Colombia, the country where my mom was born. While there, I had the privilege of photographing these lovely people. Less than a week after I returned, the country was hit by a 7.4 earthquake that caused widespread damage to homes and communities. The people I photographed felt the quake but thankfully are safe.
I've teamed up with Manos Visibles, an NGO working to help people in the Chocó region, the epicenter of the earthquake, where the population is mainly Indigenous and Afro-Colombian communities. For every print purchased, 100% of proceeds go to this organization.
